Bulletin for Spanish and Portuguese Historical Studies (BSPHS) is an annual digital peer reviewed journal committed to publish high quality original scholarly pieces addressing any aspect of the history of Spain, Portugal, or their influences in the wider world.
BSPHS is the journal of the Association for Spanish and Portuguese Historical Studies (ASPHS; formerly SSPHS). This journal substitutes the Bulletin of the Association published in print since 1993. Issues of the journal will be available freely online beginning two years after publication. Access to full text of recently published issues is by subscription only.

Business History

Business History Review

The Business History Review is a scholarly journal that seeks to publish articles with rigorous primary research that address major topics of debate, offer comparative perspectives, and contribute to the broadening of the subject. The journal is primarily concerned with the history of entrepreneurs, firms, and business systems, and with the subjects of innovation, globalization, and regulation. It also covers articles on the relation of businesses to the environment and to political regimes. The Business History Review is published in the spring, summer, autumn, and winter by Cambridge University Press for Harvard Business School.
The Business History Review also bestows two awards. The Henrietta Larson Article Award is given annually to the best article published in the journal for each volume year, as determined by a vote of the Editorial Advisory Board. The 2014 winner was “A Fine Failure: Relationship Lending, Moses Taylor, and the Joliet Iron & Steel Company, 1869–1888,” by Mary O’Sullivan. The Alfred and Fay Chandler book award is given once every three years to the best work in the field of business history published in the United States, as determined by a vote of the Editorial Advisory Board. The 2010-2012 winner was Michael Miller's Europe and the Maritime World: A Twentieth-Century History.

Critical Studies in History

Critical Studies in History (ISSN 1943-0795) is the official online journal of the History and Theory Reading Group, which meets regularly on an informal basis in the New York City area. The general aim of the journal is to provide an online forum for scholars interested in exploring the relationship between critical theory and historical problems.
Because members of the Reading Group come from different regions of the world, this journal offers those who could not attend the meetings an unique opportunity for expressing critical perspectives on the themes discussed by the Group. e-journal of Portuguese History

The e-Journal of Portuguese History (e-JPH) was founded in 2002 by the editors who also hold the copyright of the journal. 
The journal is published in English twice a year (June and December), only in electronic format. 
 The first issue of e-JPH appeared in Summer 2003. The e-JPH is a peer reviewed international journal. 
Its main objective is to provide publication of scholarly work on historical 
subjects, especially those concerning themes and topics of Portuguese 
history analyzed in comparative perspective. Historically oriented 
 contributions from the different social sciences are also welcome. 

It is furthermore the aim of the journal to offer new insights on 
developments in Portuguese historiography, as well as to provide news 
and information on research activities concerning Portuguese history.
The ethos of e-JPH is a pluralist one. It does not subscribe to any 
particular ideological, theoretical or methodological approach. 
The editors of e-JPH aim at publishing quality, blind refereed articles 
covering any period within any sub-field of historical research.

Economic History Review , The

The Economic History Review is published quarterly and each volume contains over 800 pages. It is an invaluable source of information and is available free to members of the Economic History Society. Publishing reviews of books, periodicals and information technology, The Review will keep anyone interested in economic and social history abreast of current developments in the subject. It aims at broad coverage of themes of economic and social change, including the intellectual, political and cultural implications of these changes.
Many issues contain an essay under the heading Surveys and Speculations which discusses a particular problem in economic and social history in an adventurous way. The extensive book review section in each issue provides a guide to the latest literature on economic and social history in the British Isles and throughout the rest of the world.
Each volume also contains Essays in Bibliography and Criticism which are designed to bring readers up to date with the latest writings on a particular country and topical themes in economic and social history.

Finisterra: Revista Portuguesa de Geografia

A Finisterra, editada desde 1966 pelo Centro de Estudos Geográficos da Universidade de Lisboa (CEG-ULisboa), é uma das principais revistas portuguesas de Geografia. HIOL: Hispanic Issues On Line is an open-access, refereed scholarly electronic publication devoted to the study of Hispanic and Lusophone cultures. HoST Journal of History of Science and Technology

HoST is an on-line international journal devoted to the History of Science and Technology. It explores the cultural and social dimensions of science and technology in history across the world.
HoST is edited in Lisbon by a group of Portuguese historians of science and technology but it aims to publish contributions from scholars worldwide and reach an international audience. It only accepts papers in English as a strong commitment to cross-cultural dialogue.
HoST is peer-reviewed and it is published twice a year, in spring (May) and in fall (November). The spring issue is thematic. Each number typically includes four research papers, a section on work-in progress and six book reviews (with one essay review).
HoST hosts each year in the beginning of June an international workshop on a relevant subject both for the Portuguese and international communities of historians of science and technology. The workshop acts as the main supplier of the thematic spring issue.
HoST contents are totally accessible online. HoST joins Open Access journals' effort to enhance the global circulation of knowledge.
HoST has a pdf edited version which can be downloaded from the website. Thus, the readers who prefer it may produce their own paper support version of HoST.

The Journal of Economic History is devoted to the multidisciplinary study of history and economics, and is of interest not only to economic historians but to social and demographic historians, as well as economists in general. The journal has broad coverage, in terms of both methodology and geographic scope. Topics covered include money and banking, trade, manufacturing, technology, transportation, industrial organisation, labour, agriculture, servitude, demography, education, economic growth, and the role of government and regulation. La revista Península. Revista de Estudos Ibéricos pretende ser un espacio de debate y puesta en común de las investigaciones realizadas sobre la historia de las culturas y literaturas ibéricas, un punto de encuentro de diferentes o complementarias perspectivas metodológicas y críticas, que contribuyan a un mejor o más profundo conocimiento da las culturas y literaturas de Portugal y España (teniendo en cuenta, necesariamente, tanto el contexto europeo como el iberoamericano). De este modo, la revista Península se presenta como un espacio abierto a la colaboración de investigadores de diferentes formaciones (incluyendo diferentes lenguas) que quieran presentar aquí los resultados de sus recientes investigaciones y discutir perspectivas o interpretaciones de la historia de las culturas y literaturas ibéricas, especialmente en los momentos históricos de mayor intercambio, colaboración o confrontación.
