The May issue of the Newsletter of the Portuguese Association of Economic and Social History presents a range of new and diverse calls for papers for participation in national and international conferences, alongside the usual calls for articles, opportunities, news and events. It also highlights a wide selection of Portuguese and international prizes, to which our readers are encouraged to apply.
The main highlight, however, remains the call for papers for the 45thAPHES Annual Conference. The deadline has been extended until the end of May, and all are invited to submit their proposals within the broad scope of the theme of war.
